November Beginnings

Grandma and Grandpa stayed one more day after Halloween and so we had to have more fun before they left.  I needed to play the piano for a voice lesson at CSUB so they came along and ate lunch outside with the girls while I played.  They are so wonderful to always help out and make life a little easier.

We also ate at Famous Dave's and had some really good food!

The girls love to wrestle and Lexy is pretty patient when they both pile on top of her!

Lexy loves to fall asleep on Matt in the big comfy chair
She also falls asleep in her high chair when she gets really tired.
 Sisters!

Happy Halloween

We love Halloween and I feel like our Halloween festivities lasted over a few days.  It started on the 27th when we went to Abby's preschool trunk or treat.
Lexy:  Tinkerbell; Abby:  Mickey Mouse; Lily:  Minnie Mouse
The girls love to lay on the pillows I made

Lexy fell asleep in her high chair--so cute
On the 29th we had our Family Home Evening at the park by our house.  Matt even picked up KFC on the way home--which is very unusual for us!  The kids thought it was a great treat but they were actually much more interested in playing than eating.

 October 31st!  Happy Halloween!
Grandma and Grandpa Garrett came to visit for Halloween and we were so glad they came.

Grandma took Abby to all of the booths to get candy.  Abby was fortunately more interested in the games than the candy!

Soccer

Abby's last soccer game was a lot of fun and you can definitely see it on her face!  Check out these pictures.

Abby loved to run through the tunnel after each game.

Matt bought a stand for his big TV and discovered that he needed some help.  So the missionaries came over and lended a helping hand.  I think they were all surprised at how long it took to accomplish the task.

Halloween Dance and Gymnastics

On October 24 Abby's dance and gymnastics classes allowed them to dress up in their Halloween costumes.  Abby decided to be Mickey Mouse this year and she could not wait to dress up.  She did get a little warm during gymnastics but she would not take off the costume.

October 20 we invited a fellow professor of Matt's named Erin to come over and watch the BYU vs. Notre Dame game.  We had a great time, but unfortunately BYU did not pull out the win that day--we were so close!
