Lily's First Birthday and Fourth of July

Lily's 1st birthday was on July 2 and so we combined parties and celebrated her birthday and Independence Day at Grandma's and Grandpa's in LA.  It was quite a party!  Everyone swam, ate and enjoyed watching Lily open presents!  

Tried something new instead of a cake--a cupcake cake!

Dexter and Abby opened a little gift too!  Hard to understand why one kid gets all the presents!

July Pictures

I took the girls to JCPenney for some pictures and it was quite an adventure!  I learned that taking 3 girls by myself was a really bad idea.  The goal was to take Lily's 1 year pictures, but Lily would not hold still for anything!  We still got some pictures, but I think we exhausted the photographer!
