Dance Friend Parties

On Fridays once a month we try to get together with Abby's dance friends from her class this past year.  We usually meet at someone's house.  On the 19th of July we went to Emma's house and had great food and the girls watched their dance recital performance.  On the 17th we went to Lei Lani's house and swam!  We were lucky to meet such wonderful people and are grateful we continue to get together.

We Love the Park

We absolutely love to go the park--any park!  There is a park in downtown Bakersfield that has a playground and a river with ducks.  It is one of our favorite.  We went many times in the summer.  These pictures happen to be from July 20.

Abby's Swimming Lessons

Abby took swim lessons at American Kids where she takes dance and gymnastics, but the once a week idea did not work too well for her.  She would spend half the time getting use to the water again and only get a few minutes of real swim time.  She always had to "go to the bathroom" even though we just went.  So I pulled her out (it was expensive anyway) and July we put her in a two week course at Bakersfield College.  She swam Monday-Thursday for 2 weeks and made a lot of progress.  She had a lot of fun too.

Faces of Our Beautiful Lexy

I love as babies get a little older and start to make the sweetest faces.  At almost 3 months Lexy was making the greatest faces and they made me so happy I thought I should share them with you.  They will make you smile!

We finally began decorating the inside of our home in July and purchased a beautiful personalized picture of the Portland Temple where Matt and I were married on December 29, 2001.  We also added pictures to the wall in the same room.
